Agadir is a provincial city for all areas to the south of the atlas and a bathing resort, behind Marrakech is Agadir the most visited holiday place of Morocco.

In 1960 Agadir was destroyed by an earthquake and was rebuilt during the following years completely. Today Agadir is a modern and ample holiday place which shows 2 main attractions: A splendid beach and an excellent climate with more than 300 solar days in the year.

A lot makes Agadir attractive: his fine sandy 9 km long beach, his harbour and a lot of gulf arrangements.

To the east of the city applies the dreamlike, fertile Souss level with the wide stone deserts and small oases which borders in the north on the cleft mountains of the anti-atlas. A lot of wanderings are possible here.
